Content Licence

01Your content is yours

“Your Content” means everything you put in — descriptions, measurements, reference photographs, artwork, sketches, style names and notes — and everything generated from it: specifications, measurement tables, flat sketches, point diagrams, patterns of artwork, and measurement walkthrough videos.

You retain all rights in Your Content. We claim no ownership of it, no option over it, and no right to use it beyond running the service for you.

Your designs stay yours. We don't train on them, we don't show them to anyone, and we don't use them in our own marketing. You can delete them or take them with you at any time.

02The licence you give us, and its limits

To run the service at all we need permission to handle your files. You grant ORASCI LIMITED a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, revocable licence to do the following and nothing else:

• Store, host and back up Your Content.
• Transmit it to the inference provider named in the privacy policy in order to generate the output you asked for.
• Render, convert and package it into the exports you request.
• Show it back to you, and to anyone you deliberately share a read-only link with.

This licence expressly does not permit us to:

• Train, fine-tune, evaluate or benchmark any model on Your Content. This is prohibited for us and, by contract, for our providers.
• Use Your Content in marketing, sales material, examples, screenshots, case studies or a portfolio — including anonymised, cropped or redrawn.
• Sell, license or disclose it to anyone else.
• Keep using it after you delete it, beyond the deletion windows in the privacy policy.

The licence ends when you delete the content or close your account. Backup copies clear within a further 30 days.

03Using the output commercially

You may use specifications, sketches, diagrams, artwork and videos generated here for any lawful commercial purpose, including sending them to a manufacturer and putting the resulting garment on sale. There is no extra licence to buy, no royalty and no attribution requirement, and this does not lapse if you later cancel your subscription — documents you exported while subscribed remain yours to use.

Subject only to:

• The Acceptable Use Policy, in particular the ban on reproducing another company’s product and the prohibited motif list.
• The rights of anyone else in material you uploaded.

04We do not warrant that output is unique or original

Two people describing similar garments may receive similar specifications and similar flats, and a generated pattern may resemble something that already exists. Generated material may not be protectable by copyright in your jurisdiction, and we make no claim that it is.

We do not warrant that output does not infringe anyone’s rights. Before you commit to production, satisfy yourself about anything distinctive — particularly artwork and prints. Generated artwork is recorded as generated with its parameters kept, which helps evidence how it came about but proves nothing about third party rights.

05What you are confirming when you upload

• You own Your Content, or hold a licence wide enough for what you are doing here.
• It does not infringe copyright, trade marks, registered designs, privacy or publicity rights.
• You have consent from anyone identifiable in a photograph you upload.
• You are not uploading a former employer’s or client’s work without the right to reuse it.

06If someone objects

Rights holders can report material through the infringement report form. We take the material down first and investigate afterwards, and we tell the account holder what was removed and why so they can respond. Repeated infringement ends an account.

07What belongs to us

The service itself — software, interface, the Flatspec name and marks, our drawing conventions and templates as a body of work — remains ours. The output produced for you is yours; the machinery that produced it is not.
