01The three things we do not guarantee

One: measurement accuracy. Measurements are generated from what you tell us — the garment type, the fit you asked for, the size you entered, and any numbers you supplied. They are a starting point drawn from common practice, not a verified pattern. Values we derived rather than received are marked inferred and stay marked through to the export. Check every row against your own intent before you send it anywhere. A pattern cutter still has to turn a measurement table into a pattern.

Two: grading. The size increments we produce are common increments for the garment type. They are not a grade developed for a particular population, market or body shape, and we do not claim otherwise anywhere on this site. Every increment is editable precisely because you, not us, know who this garment is for.

Three: manufacturability. Nothing generated here is a guarantee that a garment can be made as specified, that a factory will accept it, that a sample will match it, or what any of it will cost. That depends on their machinery, their skills, their fabric, and the conversation you have with them.

This is a specification document, not a pattern and not a production order. It describes what you want. It does not guarantee that a factory can make it, that a sample will match, or what it will cost.

02Output can simply be wrong

• Models produce confident, plausible, incorrect answers. A dimension can be internally inconsistent, a construction note can describe something that cannot be sewn, a trim can be specified in a size that is not made.
• A generated flat sketch is a drawing, not a pattern piece. It has no seam allowance, no grain line derived from a real block, and no guarantee that the pieces close.
• Nothing here is professional advice — technical, legal, safety or commercial.
• Review everything before sending it to anyone who will act on it. That review is the part we cannot do for you.

03Care and composition labels

We provide field templates and a list of the fields commonly required in the UK, EU and US markets. That is where it stops.

Label requirements differ by market and change over time. We give you the fields that are usually required. Confirming that your label is legal where you sell is not something we can do for you.

We do not license care symbols to you either. Some symbol sets are subject to licensing in some markets, and confirming your position on that is yours to do.

04Childrenswear carries statutory safety requirements

If you specify a garment for children, cords and drawstrings at the neck and hood are restricted by safety standards including EN 14682, and similar requirements exist in other markets. We may flag it when we notice, but we do not check your specification against any standard and we do not certify that a garment complies with one. Treat any prompt from us as a reminder to check, never as clearance.

05This does not replace anyone

A tech pack produced here is a communication document. It does not replace a pattern cutter, a technical designer, a garment technologist, a fit session or a sampling round. If it removes a few rounds of email about where the chest is measured, that is the whole of the benefit being claimed.

06Uses we prohibit

• Anything where a specification error would create a safety risk — personal protective equipment, medical garments, flame-resistant workwear, or anything certified to a safety standard.
• Producing a document that is presented as certified or independently verified when it is not.
• Copying an existing product from another company, which is also a breach of the Acceptable Use Policy.

07Bias

Models reflect what they were trained on. In garment terms this shows up as defaults skewed toward particular body assumptions, particular markets and particular construction conventions. Treat every default as a suggestion to be overridden, and tell us at support@orasci.shop when you see a bad one.

08Where the inference happens

Model inference may be carried out by a third party provider on our behalf. That provider is listed in the privacy policy, is contractually prohibited from training on your designs, and is named on request at any time.
