The Hazel Court knife-pleat midi dress is cut in 97% polyester 3% elastane and finished in dove grey. cut in our pearl and slate palette and held in stock in Orpington.
How this dress is put together
97% polyester 3% elastane. Seams are stitched at a consistent tension and finished so they lie flat against the skin, with side seams overlocked or French-seamed depending on the cloth weight. Necklines are faced rather than bound where the fabric is fine, so nothing shows through. Zips are set into a taped seam so they run straight, and buttonholes are stitched twice. Hems are weighted to the fabric: a deeper turn on drapey viscose so it hangs true, a narrow rolled hem on bias satin so it does not fight the fall.
Care
Hand wash cool at 30C, never twist or fold across the pleats, drip dry on a hanger with the pleats hanging straight, do not iron the pleated panel, steam lightly at a distance if needed.
