Why does dispatch take 3-5 working days?
We dispatch within 3-5 working days of your order. Delivery within the UK is £5.50 and free on baskets over £95.00. Every dress listed as available is physically in stock in our Orpington stockroom, so there is no production wait — the only delay is picking, checking and packing.
Can I change or cancel after ordering?
Email support@orasci.shop as soon as possible. If the run has not started we can amend or cancel. Once it has, you can still return the item under our returns policy.
Do you restock sold-out styles?
Sometimes. Because runs are small, a colour may not return in the same shade. Email us about a specific style and we will tell you whether it is scheduled again.
Sizing and materials
How do I choose a size?
See the size guide. Sizes run UK 6 to UK 18, with bias slip and evening shapes ending at UK 16. Compare your bust, waist and hip against the flat measurements on the product page rather than relying on the size you usually buy — ease differs a lot between a column dress and a bias slip.
Why does the colour look slightly different from the photo?
Batches are dyed separately and screens vary. Small differences in tone are normal for dressmaking and are not a fault. If a piece is clearly not as described, our returns policy covers it.
What fibres do you use?

Will I pay customs charges?
Orders outside the UK may attract import duty or tax set by the destination country. Those are the recipient’s responsibility — we cannot calculate or refund them.

How long do I have?
28 days from delivery to change your mind, 30 days to reject faulty goods for a full refund. Full detail in the returns policy.
Care
How should I wash and store my dress?
See the care guide. Most of our dresses wash at 30C on a gentle cycle with buttons and zips closed, and dry best on a hanger away from direct sun. Bias slips are hand wash and must be dried flat, never hung wet, or they lengthen unevenly. Pleated skirts are hand wash, hung to dry with the pleats straight, and never ironed directly — steam from a distance instead. Lined evening pieces are dry clean. Full instructions for each fibre are in our care guide, and the sewn-in label on your dress is always the final word.
