How this dress is put together
88% polyester 12% elastane scuba crepe. Seams are stitched at a consistent tension and finished so they lie flat against the skin, with side seams overlocked or French-seamed depending on the cloth weight. Necklines are faced rather than bound where the fabric is fine, so nothing shows through. Zips are set into a taped seam so they run straight, and buttonholes are stitched twice. Hems are weighted to the fabric: a deeper turn on drapey viscose so it hangs true, a narrow rolled hem on bias satin so it does not fight the fall.
Care
Dry clean recommended for lined gowns, spot clean small marks with cool water and a plain cloth, store on a padded hanger with the skirt supported, steam to release creases, do not tumble dry.
